5A / Mint Quality: These are the best available grade of recycled golf balls, appearing virtually like new with no or very little wear and maintaining their original color and sheen. You may even find player markings, team, and corporate logos on these balls, making it hard to believe they have been used before.
4A / Near Mint Quality: Slightly more noticeable in terms of imperfections, these recycled golf balls will generally look like a new ball after 1-3 holes of play. They may include scuff marks, slight discoloration, and minor cosmetic blemishes, but these do not compromise the ball's flight characteristics. Player markings, team, and corporate logos are also present on these balls.
3A / Good Quality: These recycled golf balls are very playable and in good condition, generally resembling a new ball after about 9 holes of golf. They may include moderate surface blemishes, slight scuffs, and discoloration, but these will not affect the trajectory, distance, or flight path of the ball. Higher-grade practice and X-Out models may be included in this category. Player markings, team, and corporate logos can be found on these golf balls.
2A / Hit Away Quality: Considered the most cosmetically challenged, these recycled golf balls will have major surface blemishes, significant discoloration, and may even be cut or out-of-round. While we do not recommend playing a full round of golf with these, they are perfect for practice or situations where you don't need to retrieve the balls.
Regardless of the grade, all of our golf balls have been thoroughly washed and graded for quality. You can expect to find logos, pen markings, and scuffs on each ball, ensuring that you receive a genuine used product.
